Central Kitchen Contemplates All Plant-Based Accelerator in Cleveland.

In 2019, Central Kitchen began exploring the viability of launching an all plant-based accelerator program in Cleveland, Ohio. With the goal of helping plant-based entrepreneurs scale their businesses and contribute to the growth of the local food industry, the program was met with enthusiastic support from The Fund for our Economic Future, Greater Cleveland Partnership, and the Cleveland Foundation.

Thanks to the commissioned feasibility study by Magnet, valuable insights were gathered on the potential of the accelerator program. Following this, Elyabeth Alfono, a seasoned entrepreneur and consultant, was engaged to develop a comprehensive business model. The blueprint she created outlined the program’s mission, goals, and target audience.

The plant-based accelerator program is designed to provide entrepreneurs in the plant-based food industry with the necessary resources, mentorship, and support they need to grow and scale their businesses. Through workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities, participants will learn from experienced professionals and connect with industry experts.

Central Kitchen is committed to working with the plant-based food community in Cleveland and beyond to foster innovation, growth, and sustainability in the industry. Stay up-to-date on the program’s progress and join us in our mission to support plant-based entrepreneurs and promote a healthy and sustainable food system. – Eric Diamond, CEO
